Using trains in CityVille will not be allowed until you have reached a minimum of level 5. After you have reached level 5 you will be able to start using trains for receiving and selling goods.  This is when you can start using your neighbors to save you money and energy.

When you are starting to run out of goods in your city then it is a very good idea to start using your trains. Using your trains is a huge advantage because this helps save you a lot of energy thatn you would normally use harvesting your own crops and goods. You also get a lot more back for you coins than if you were harvesting goods yourself.

Getting goods by train takes far less time than planting, growing and harvesting them yourself. Many of the high value crops take a long time to grow and mature. When using your trains, you can receive goods in as little as 5 minutes. Trains make you money and save you energy. Start using them to your advantage as soon as you can.

The way you use trains is after you have requested goods and the appropriate time has elapsed (usually 5 minutes) you will see a rail road sign running through your goals list. This is when you should see the train arrive and it when it comes through the train depot it will have a Facebook picture icon showing above it. When you click on the icon picture you will be given some options and you will want to select the option that says “collect” this will then give you the goods you have requested and you will see that your goods total have increased.

Just the opposite will occur when you are ready to sell the goods. Instead you will just click on “sell goods” in the train menu and this will sell your goods to neighboring cities. This will bring coins without using much energy.

Using trains requires you to use your social networking skills since it is imperative that you have neighbors. Using trains can save you lots of money and energy but without a lot of friends and neighbors it can be a fruitless endeavor.

Just keep in mind that whichever strategies you choose to use that your key focus of everyday should be getting more neighbors.

One thing that holds true in CityVille that is gospel for all successful businesses is location. The correct location and what you do around your building makes a huge difference in the amount of income you can expect from all your businesses. Constructing all your stores in a chain side by side increases the population’s spending.

It may at times seem to make more sense to put some stores in certain areas but the more you can keep them side by side they will do much better. It works by using the philosophy that most outdoor strip malls use and that’s keeping buying convenient for shoppers.

The next thing you can do is make vacant lots for neighbors to build businesses. Remember that stores in a chain make more money, well offer vacant lots that neighbors can use in the same manner. As you are looking for room to put stores in a chain so are they, offering a great location encourages others to build in your city and this mean extra income with using money or energy.

Another common tip that isn’t applied enough is to put decorations around your businesses. This alone with increase any business income. Remember to make your vacant lots appealing with decorations to entice those neighbors to bring their franchises into your city. Always keep in mind that more neighbors = more money. Always sell your city to your neighbors and do your best to make it worth their while to spend their money and energy in your city. Applying these simple business tips in your CityVille city will increase your productivity exponentially.
